The large flat-top lifting double-cathode ion nitriding furnace is a kind of equipment used for surface nitriding treatment of metal materials.

※ Structural Features

· Furnace structure: adopts large flat roof design, the furnace cover can be lifted and lowered to facilitate the loading and unloading of the workpiece. The furnace body is usually made of high-quality steel, has good sealing and strength, and can withstand high temperature and vacuum environment.

· Dual cathode system: Equipped with two cathodes, it can nitride two workpieces or a group of large workpieces at the same time, improving production efficiency. The cathode adopts special material and structure design, which can distribute ion flow uniformly and ensure the consistency of nitriding effect.

· lifting system: composed of motor, screw, guide rail, etc., can realize the stable lifting of the furnace cover. The lifting speed can be adjusted as needed, usually between a few centimeters to tens of centimeters per minute.

※ Working principle

· In a vacuum environment, fill the furnace with nitrogen-containing gases, such as nitrogen and ammonia. The power supply of the device applies an electric field between the anode and cathode to ionize the nitrogen-containing gas and produce charged particles such as nitrogen ions and electrons, forming a plasma. Nitrogen ion is accelerated under the action of electric field, high-speed bombarding the surface of the metal workpiece, the kinetic energy of the ion is converted into heat energy to heat the workpiece, at the same time, nitrogen ion obtains electrons on the surface of the workpiece to reduce to nitrogen atoms, nitrogen atoms penetrate into the metal surface and spread to the interior, chemical reaction with metal atoms, forming a nitriding layer on the metal surface.
